Stratton
Lance Stratton has over 30 years of experience in custom home design and remodeling. Having been recognized for his attention to detail and quality workmanship, he has won awards for his kitchen and bath designs. He is offering his services to homeowners in Southern California.
Lance became a certified draftsman at 18. He honed his skills by working for top San Diego residential architects for 10 years. After mastering his craft, he founded Studio Stratton in 2010. With his extensive experience, Lance is supported by top-tier industry professionals, including architects, engineers, general contractors, and cabinetry manufacturers. He now creates unique and one-of-a-kind projects for entrepreneurs and executives in San Diego, Palm Desert, Mexico, and London, establishing himself as one of the top kitchen and bath designers and remodelers in Southern California.
His meticulous planning and a keen eye for detail are his keys to success. He is one of the few design professionals who provides detailed hand-drawn designs for top clients. He believes in quality work and taking in limited projects to better serve his clients.
Under his leadership, Studio Statton has earned awards and recognition from local and national design organizations, the latest of which is the 2023 Chrysalis Bronze Award for Specialty Kitchen, 2023 National Kitchen and Bath Association Silver Award for Specialty Kitchen (Outdoor), and 2023 Kitchen and Bath Design News, respectively.

Marcie
Stratton
Marcie L. Stratton has been an integral part of Studio Stratton since its inception in 2010 and now serves as the Vice President of Operations. With a diverse background in the medical and insurance industries, Marcie brings extensive experience in triage, operational processes, customer service, and problem-solving.
In her role, Marcie actively participates in the design process, offering a practical perspective that complements Lance’s creative vision. Clients appreciate her involvement in coordinating selections, managing deliveries, scheduling appointments, processing orders, and handling invoicing—ensuring a seamless experience throughout their projects.
Marcie and Lance have been married since September 1989, sharing both a personal and professional partnership that strengthens the foundation of Studio Stratton.
Rebecca
Cordero
Rebecca joined Studio Stratton in 2025. With years of experience in real estate, construction management, and interior design, Rebecca brings a wealth of value to our team. She has been involved in various aspects of residential design and development, including space planning of spec homes, construction estimating and management, and home sales. Her husband was the one that encouraged her to attend design school to develop her passion and skills.
For the last several years, Rebecca’s experience has been as a kitchen and bath designer in home centers and boutique kitchen studios like Studio Stratton. Our customers benefit from her kind demeanor and practical design aesthetic.

Stratton
Duncan, affectionately known as “Dunkie,” is the heart and soul of Studio Stratton. As the official mascot, welcome wagon, and chief security officer, Duncan plays a key role in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for clients and visitors alike. With his hypoallergenic Poodle/Bichon mix coat and non-shedding nature, he’s both adorable and allergy-friendly—making him a favorite among everyone who steps through the studio doors.
Known for his friendly demeanor and playful spirit, Duncan greets guests with enthusiasm, ensuring they feel at home from the moment they arrive. Whether he’s offering a wagging tail, seeking a belly rub, or keeping an eye on the studio’s daily happenings, Dunkie’s presence adds a special touch to the Studio Stratton experience.
When he’s not on duty, Duncan enjoys long walks, soaking up the sunshine, and finding the perfect spot for an afternoon nap. His curious nature and gentle personality remind us that a home is truly complete when it’s filled with warmth, laughter, and a loyal four-legged friend.
