Warm Sunlit Grace

This home had a large kitchen to begin with. Size wasn’t the issue, but our clients felt that it was… well… boring! Our new design is anything but that. The use of Studio Stratton’s custom hot-rolled steel hood design gave us the design cue to incorporate deep iron tones for the island and dish storage conservatory cabinet. The white dishes stand out behind the glass doors, using natural walnut as an interior color.  Gold hardware and plumbing fixtures add an element of sparkle, and the natural quartzite stone provides an understated beauty as backsplash and countertop. Our “proudest moment” in the design is the crowning element of the natural finished wood beam. Its rustic nature stands in stark juxtaposition to the otherwise tailored look of the space.
