LUXURY KITCHEN DESIGN
The challenge: Make a “WOW” kitchen that serves well and offers very personalized details. We suggested natural woods in various colors to create warmth and texture. Texture actually became a touchstone phrase for this project. Natural quartzite with dramatic veining was selected for the countertops, with just a note of hardwood atop the weathered blue accent piece on the island. Bun feet and wire door inserts finish off the furniture feel of this little moment of drama. The beautiful mantel-style hood is underpinned by the generous 48″ Thermador range, and the relief-patterned backsplash tile adds yet another layer of texture to finish off the aesthetic.
