LUXURY KITCHEN DESIGN
This kitchen finds itself as the centerpiece of a 1925 Craftsman-style California bungalow. Several areas of the original home were combined to create room for a generous kitchen under the existing roofline. A large beam was installed to open up the kitchen area to the rest of the home, and an oversized folding window takes advantage of San Diego’s four-season entertaining possibilities! Bold cabinetry colors were chosen for this space and are seamlessly blended together by the natural quartzite countertop and backsplash. An oiled walnut island top provides much needed historical context to the design.

The layout of the kitchen is so functional that it makes cooking an ease as well as a joy and the contemporary design elements blend beautifully with the traditional Craftsman charm of our 1925 home.
Lance worked magic with a small footprint so that we were able to have two sinks in the main bathroom and a walk-in closet. Both things we believed impossible to accomplish. We enjoyed the whole process and are thrilled with the final result.”
